I'm getting quite excited about the upcoming New Year, mostly because it's going to see the release of Vampires Realm. I'll hopefully have the website ready by beginning or middle of January, and the first release will be available at the end of February.
I'm making progress on Prophecy Book Three. I'm actually just past the 70'000 word mark, which means there's only 35'000-40'000 words to go. I won't get them all written before I go back to work, but by the middle of January the story will be finished in first draft form.
I've just finished adding in the changes and correcting the things that Maria noticed when she critiqued Prophecy Book One for me. I can't thank her enough for the work she did on the story, I can only cajole her into getting started on book two!
Well, have a great New Year all. I'll see you in 2007! You better get ready for Vampires Realm!
Paranormal Vampire Romance / Urban Fantasy books series that you can really sink your teeth into.

When author fears strike!
Man, I had a weird dream the other night and it's haunting me.
I dreamt that a reviewer said that Prophecy Book Three was terrible. It was slow, the pacing was all wrong and dragged, and the scenes were crappy. I tried to defend myself by saying it wasn't even half written yet, but they slaughtered it.
Talk about writing fears invading my dreams. I've been struggling to get this puppy going and although I know the scenes aren't dragging, or crappy, I still have those niggling doubts that they are. I guess I just wants this to be a really great book and I want it so badly that I'm getting all antsy about it.
Wrote and wrote and wrote today, but only managed to get 6200 words written. I hope I can keep the flow that I've found. It seems the muse has returned to me. I probably should have slogged away and got another 2000 written, but my wrists/hands/arms were getting that achy vibe that I've learnt means "give it a rest" for the day.
Still, I'm like a hop away from halfway through now and things are getting interesting.
I've also thought up another hero, a little more sinister this time, but most of the Vampires Realms books will be quite dark anyway, so he'll fit right in. By the time I get to his story, it'll probably be 2010! lol. I've got so many to write first. Still, it's good to know there are many more stories to tell in this series.

Not so quick now!
I'm lagging behind with the word count for Prophecy Book Three. I've really got to pull my socks up as I've got a lot of editing ahead of me in the New Year. Prophecy Book One is due for completion by beginning of February so I can send it out for review before it's released at the end of February.
Here's the progress on Book Three so far:
I really need to get moving. I've got about 70'000 words to go. I blame the muse. He's done a runner since I got back from Japan and is refusing to cooperate with me. If anyone sees him, send him home. Promise him chocolate or something sweet. He's a sucker for that.
Since I won't be on much over Christmas, I wanted to thank everyone who has supported me in my writing this year and I'll see you all again next year, and bring you a lovely present in the shape of a Vampire series you can really sink your teeth into!
Love to all,

Prophecy book three
Well, progress has been made once more on Prophecy Book Three. I started writing it again yesterday and I think I'm getting back into the swing of things. It's been a few months since I've written so I'm glad that it's all coming back after all this time spent reading, editing or on holiday (shocking, I know).
I'm aiming to get this story completed in first draft by the end of the month. It's asking a lot considering that I only had 15'000 words of it done yesterday morning, but I'm making good progress already.
I've still got a long way to go though. There's only 8 working days left before my christmas holiday starts, and I've taken a couple of days off on the other side of it so I can get working on the edits of Prophecy Book One and Prophecy Book Two.
It's going to be a very busy few months for me. Shortly I'll be able to announce the release dates for these three stories. I can't wait!
